An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Adult Mental Health Department in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and psychiatric expertise to the Older Adult Mental Health Department and Home Treatment Service.
- Lead assessments and follow-ups for the most complex cases within the department.
- Support and enhance community mental health services for older adults.
- Actively contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service.
- Assist the Service Manager in effective service management.
- Conduct audits to improve service effectiveness and target outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion.
- Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
