Overview: Contigo Healthcare is delighted to partner with a renowned Teaching Hospital in Yorkshire to recruit a Consultant in Acute Medicine for a permanent or fixed-term post. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medicine Consultant to join a modern, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing clinical expertise. The role offers a chance to play a key part in the continued development of the Acute Medicine service, within a well-supported and forward-thinking department.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary – based on experience and negotiable
- Relocation package – up to £20,000 (subject to eligibility criteria)
Essential Criteria:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and licence to practise
- Demonstrable independent clinical experience at Consultant level in Acute or General Medicine
- Ability to fulfil 10 Programmed Activities (PAs)
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in supervising Specialist Registrars or equivalent trainees
Working Pattern & On-Call Duties:
- Weekend on-call commitment: 1 in 14
- Supported by specialty services
- 10 PAs per week
