This role is ideal for a skilled histopathologist looking to join a forward-thinking team in a modern facility dedicated to advancing diagnostic excellence. Salary: Negotiable Salary, dependent on experience.
Benefits: Relocation Package up to £20,000, dependent on criteria.
Essential Criteria:
- GMC full registration & licence (FRCPath)
- On or within 6 months of GMC Specialist Register in Histopathology (or expected CESR approval)
- Minimum 6 months UK experience at Consultant level
- Demonstrate independent clinical experience and skill in Histopathology
- Ability to offer expert opinion on histological and cytological specimens
- Special interests required in one of: Gynae, Skin, General Internal Medicine (GiM), Urology, or Head & Neck
- Ability to present findings to clinical colleagues
Desirable Criteria:
- Postgraduate Thesis
- Ability to elicit pathological findings and cause of death on autopsies
- Experience teaching undergraduates basic clinical skills
- Experience supervising Specialist Registrars (SpRs)
- Ability to supervise postgraduate research
Working Hours / On-Call:
- No out-of-hours commitment
- Up to 12 PAs with flexible/possible remote working option
