Contigo Healthcare is excited to partner with a leading NHS Trust to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Consultant in Haematology on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for a skilled haematologist eager to join a dedicated team in a modern facility committed to advancing patient care. With a broad scope covering clinical and laboratory haematology, including haemato-oncology and transfusion services, this position offers a chance to excel in a dynamic and impactful specialty.
Salary: Negotiable Salary, dependent on experience.
Benefits: Relocation Package up to £20,000, dependent on criteria.
Essential Criteria:
- GMC full registration & licence (MRCPath or equivalent) & MRCP
- On or within 6 months of GMC Specialist Register in Haematology (or expected CESR approval)
- Independent clinical experience and skill in Haematology
- Must have clinical and laboratory haematology training (evidenced in CV)
- Must cover haemato-oncology, diagnostic lab, and transfusion services
- Ability to provide overnight/weekend advice on blood films, transfusion, and clotting
- Ability to work up to 12 PAs
- Participation in 1:7 on-call rota (Category A, 1 PA in job plan + 5% supplement)
- Cross-site working included
