About Contigo Commercial Finance
Contigo Commercial Finance is a commercial finance brokerage with access to a whole-of-market panel of lenders. We help UK businesses — with a focus on the healthcare sector — access the right funding solutions, whether that's invoice finance, business loans, or working capital facilities. We're a fast-moving, results-driven team and we're growing.
The Role
We're looking for a confident, articulate and driven Appointment Setter to join our team on a remote basis. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients — working through a mix of cold outreach to healthcare businesses and reactivating previous inbound enquiries. Your job is to have quality conversations, identify funding needs and book qualified handovers for our lending specialists. This is a high-activity role. You'll be making a minimum of 50 outbound dials per day and will be expected to consistently convert conversations into qualified opportunities. If you're someone who thrives on targets, enjoys speaking to business owners and wants to be rewarded for your output — this role is built for you.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Making a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to UK business owners and decision makers
- Working from healthcare sector directories and a list of previous inbound enquiries
- Opening conversations, identifying pain points around cashflow and funding needs
- Qualifying prospects by uncovering funding purpose, amount, timeline and decision-making authority
- Capturing key information including lender and rate details on reactivation calls
- Logging all activity, notes and handover details accurately in the CRM
- Passing qualified handovers to lending specialists — only where the client has explicitly agreed to a follow-up call
- Representing Contigo professionally and consistently on every call
Desired Experience & Qualification
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional spoken English — clear, warm and professional with a natural conversational tone
- Previous experience in a cold calling, telesales or appointment setting role is preferred
- Comfortable speaking with UK business owners and professionals
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Resilient — you understand that cold calling involves rejection and you don't let it slow you down
- Detail-oriented — you log calls accurately and take handover notes seriously
- Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage
- Experience in financial services, lending or a B2B environment is a bonus but not essential
Package & Remuneration
Compensation
- Base Salary: $500 per month (subject to meeting the 50 dial per day minimum)
- Commission: Tiered per qualified handover — $10 (1–5), $15 (6–10), $25 (11+)
- OTE: $750 – $1,000+ per month for consistent performers
- Commission is uncapped — the more qualified handovers you deliver, the more you earn
What a Qualified Handover Looks Like
We pay commission on quality, not just quantity. A handover counts when:
- You've spoken directly to the decision maker
- Funding need, amount and timeline have been discussed and confirmed
- Full contact details have been verified
- The client has explicitly agreed to receive a call from one of our lending specialists
- Handover notes have been logged in the CRM
