As the Country Manager, you'll be the primary representative of CONTEXT within the local IT vendor, distributor, reseller and retailer community. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing the CONTEXT panels of partnering IT distributors, resellers and retailers. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, requiring an entrepreneurial spirit to cultivate new relationships and nurture existing partnerships. You'll also be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the country's IT market landscape and to present to the industry on various occasions.

Main Tasks and Accountabilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with all existing and prospective stakeholders vital to our in-country business strategy, including IT vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers. Act as the primary evangelist for the CONTEXT brand, solutions, and services within the local market. Represent CONTEXT at relevant industry events, actively participating and potentially presenting where appropriate. Collaborate closely with CONTEXT's sales team by liaising with customers' local country subsidiaries and contacts to support sales initiatives.
  • Panel Management & Data Integrity: Ensure the continuous health of the country's panels through regular engagement and visits with panel members. Grow the country’s panels by adding new panel members, and constantly be aware of main targets for each panel. Provide comprehensive training to panel members on using CONTEXT's online reports, explaining our methodology and confidentiality protocols. Proactively chase missing data from existing panel members and investigate any data anomalies to maintain data quality.
  • Market Intelligence & Support: Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the local IT channel landscape, including market trends and competitive activities. Provide UK forecast to contribute intelligence to the overall CONTEXT quarterly forecast. Regularly present in CONTEXT Weekly Forum on UK/IE market trends. Serve as a key resource for vendors, addressing their country channel-specific inquiries and looking for ways to provide insights.
  • Business Development & Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic plan to onboard new members to the CONTEXT panel, actively persuading them to join. Support initiatives to expand awareness of CONTEXT's services, directly driving new local business together with the sales team. Conduct initial product demonstrations for prospective partners and clients, effectively showcasing CONTEXT's value. Meet regularly with vendors together with the relevant account manager to understand their channel partner strategies and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Experience/Knowledge/Qualification required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field - and/or relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in the IT industry, coupled with a keen interest in its trends and dynamics.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Comfortable and proficient in delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Project Management skills.
