We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing Microsoft Managed Services Provider seeking an experienced and customer‑focused Technical Account Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys building long‑term client relationships, providing strategic advice, and ensuring customers gain maximum value from their technology investments.

Working closely with both clients and internal technical teams, you will act as a trusted adviser, helping businesses align their IT services and solutions with their wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular service reviews and account management meetings.
  • Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance customers' IT environments and services.
  • Liaising with technical, service delivery and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Producing account plans, service reports and technology roadmaps.
  • Supporting contract renewals and identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and driving service improvements.
  • Managing escalations and ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer across the organisation.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Technical Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Customer Success Manager or similar client‑facing role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions and managed services.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into clear business benefits.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience developing client accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, consultative and customer‑focused approach.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with technical and commercial teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

Must be eligible to work in the UK.
