Since its formation in 1984, CONTENUR has been committed to delivering products and services designed to improve urban waste management, adopting a fundamental role in the uptake of container systems across Europe. For 22 years, Contenur UK has been at the forefront of the UK waste industry and is now the leading supplier of commercial waste and recycling containers to a diverse range of markets.

We are recruiting for a person with exceptional customer service skills. This is a fixed term role with the possibility to become permanent. Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, the responsibilities include:

  • Manage contact and communications with external customers within a defined region, working closely with the Regional Sales Managers / Commercial Director to secure long term business and excellent customer relationships.
  • All aspects of Order Processing to include:
    • Input of customer orders directly onto production system
    • Input general stock orders directly onto system
    • Management of proforma orders
    • Ownership of production flow for orders liaising with logistics / production departments regarding production dates and deliveries – with continual communication to customers.
  • Raising and managing Quality Complaints via our software systems, liaising with other functional areas to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution for customers.
  • Working closely with procurement on incoming orders and stock, raw materials/accessories, for bespoke orders.
  • Liaising with Industrial & Logistics departments to ensure smooth implementation of orders; to include correct acknowledged dates/delivery timescales to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • To maintain rapport with colleagues, customers and suppliers, setting priorities and resolving problem situations.
  • To provide cover for other regions as required to the internal commercial sales team in the event of absence.
  • To monitor general stock and customer bespoke stock levels. To maintain levels and ensure annual stock targets are met. To provide reporting on ad hoc basis to the Commercial Sales team.
  • To work closely with Regional Managers along with Logistics/Transport department to ensure all quotations are costed correctly.
  • To assist, when required, and when experienced, with any training requirements for new starters.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time to assist the Regional Sales Managers and Commercial Director.
