We’re looking for a technically skilled and solutions-driven Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our expanding Engineering team in Braacknell, Berkshire.

We’re seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in platform operations, Dev Ops, or infrastructure engineering.
You’ll play a key role in delivering resilient, scalable, and secure solutions that power services for some of the world’s most vital organisations.

Key responsibilities of the role…
Infrastructure & Automation
- Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions using automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Continuously improve platform reliability and streamline operational workflows through automation and tooling.
Security & Observability
- Develop and maintain proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Contribute to both offensive and defensive security strategies, including threat simulations and incident playbooks.
Operational Excellence
- Provide 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues, working alongside 1st and 2nd line teams to ensure fast and effective resolutions.
- Coordinate seamless, zero-downtime deployments in collaboration with Development teams.
Innovation & Collaboration
- Stay on the cutting edge of infrastructure technologies and best practices.
- Participate in regular research, proof-of-concept and implementation projects to evolve the platform.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, agility and continuous improvement.
About you…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, Dev Ops or similar roles (or 3+ years plus 2+ years in customer support).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Power Shell, Python, or similar).
- Experience with containerisation, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and security principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable with overnight and weekend work (scheduled rotational basis).
- Experience in ISO-certified environments is a plus.
