Infrastructure Engineer

What we are looking for…
We’re seeking a motivated mid-level infrastructure professional with at least 2 years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations role. You’ll contribute to the design, delivery, and maintenance of our globally distributed cloud infrastructure, working with a wide range of technologies to ensure resilience, scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities of the role…
Infrastructure Implementation & Support:
- Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with zero-downtime deployment practices
- Provide hands-on support for operational issues and contribute to platform reliability
Continuous Improvement & Automation:
- Automate workflows and processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines
Monitoring, Observability & Security:
- Develop proactive monitoring strategies and contribute to security best practices
- Participate in incident response, threat simulation and operational runbooks
Troubleshooting & Collaboration:
- Provide 3rd line support and collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to resolve technical issues
- Work cross-functionally with developers to support seamless deployments
High Availability & Flexibility:
- Design and implement systems with high availability and disaster recovery in mind
- Support a global, always-on environment with flexibility to respond to evolving business needs
About you…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant infrastructure or DevOps role
- Familiarity with a range of operating systems, cloud technologies and hardware
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
- Good understanding of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of security principles and monitoring practices is desirable
