Content Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud Customer Experience (CX) and contact centre solutions, and we are at the forefront of the Generative AI evolution. We’re looking for a Global SVP Sales to join our team at our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for leading our global sales organisation and driving continued growth across international markets.

What we are looking for…
We’re seeking an experienced and commercially focused sales executive to lead our global sales function. You’ll be responsible for defining and executing a global sales strategy, leading an international team, and ensuring the business continues to achieve ambitious growth objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base, strengthening strategic relationships, and ensuring sales opportunities are effectively progressed from lead through to close. This role would suit a proven sales leader with significant experience in SaaS, technology, or a closely related industry, who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level.

This role is based in our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire. International travel will be required.
Key responsibilities of the role…
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with business objectives. Analyse market conditions, trends, and opportunities to identify areas for growth. Develop compelling sales propositions that effectively engage prospective customers. Contribute to product and go-to-market strategy where appropriate. Lead the global sales organisation to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
- Sales Performance & Delivery: Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue objectives across all regions. Oversee pipeline management, opportunity progression, and forecasting activities. Ensure bids, tenders, and proposals are delivered to a consistently high standard. Support the successful closure of strategic opportunities, personally engaging where required. Maintain accurate sales reporting and business forecasting.
- Customer & Industry Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders. Develop strategic relationships across relevant industries and markets. Ensure customers view Content Guru as a trusted long-term business partner. Represent the business at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Support the retention and growth of existing customer relationships.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing global sales team. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to drive individual and team success. Support succession planning and the development of future sales leaders. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Recognise and reward behaviours that align with the company’s values and objectives.
- Performance Management & Continuous Improvement: Ensure appropriate resources, processes, and systems are in place to support sales success. Monitor team performance and implement improvement initiatives where required. Use data and insights to drive decision-making and increase sales effectiveness. Champion lessons learned and best practice sharing across the organisation. Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership.
About you…
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience of delivering direct sales within a technology, SaaS, or related environment.
- Strong experience leading sales teams at Head of Sales, Sales Director, VP Sales, or equivalent level.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
- Demonstrable success in driving opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth international business environment.
