We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to help support and evolve our cloud platform that powers mission‑critical services for some of the world’s most important organisations. What we are looking for… We’re seeking a motivated mid‑level infrastructure professional with at least 2 years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations role. You’ll contribute to the design, delivery, and maintenance of our globally distributed cloud infrastructure, working with a wide range of technologies to ensure resilience, scalability and performance.

Location… This role is based at our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Key responsibilities of the role…

  • Infrastructure Implementation & Support: Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with zero‑downtime deployment practices. Provide hands‑on support for operational issues and contribute to platform reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation: Automate workflows and processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance operational efficiency. Contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code and DevOps pipelines.
  • Monitoring, Observability & Security: Develop proactive monitoring strategies and contribute to security best practices. Participate in incident response, threat simulation and operational runbooks.
  • Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Provide 3rd line support and collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to resolve technical issues. Work cross‑functionally with developers to support seamless deployments.
  • High Availability & Flexibility: Design and implement systems with high availability and disaster recovery in mind. Support a global, always‑on environment with flexibility to respond to evolving business needs.

About you…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant infrastructure or DevOps role.
  • Familiarity with a range of operating systems, cloud technologies and hardware.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
  • Good understanding of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of security principles and monitoring practices is desirable.
