Overview
Content Strategist | Content Forge (Remote)
From the founders of Mini Katana (30M+ subscribers)
Who We Are
We built Mini Katana from $2K to $50M+ in sales through organic content alone. Billions of views. 30M+ subscribers. Now we're bringing that same approach to brands through Content Forge. We're a content agency built by creators who've actually grown massive audiences ourselves. We specialize in short-form video across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and our focus is on building audiences that drive real revenue for our clients.
Role
This is more than scheduling posts and writing captions. You\'ll own the content strategy for a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end. That means you\'re on calls with clients, pitching ideas, studying what\'s working across platforms, and making sure every piece of content we put out has a clear purpose behind it. We want someone who can hold their own in a strategy meeting and also come up with the idea that gets 10M views.
Responsibilities
- Own organic content strategy for client accounts across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, from ideation to execution.
- Manage and grow client social accounts, closely tracking performance data and optimizing in real time.
- Be the main point of contact for clients, running strategy calls, presenting results, and proactively bringing new ideas to the table.
- Ideate and script short-form video content that drives real performance, not just looks good on paper.
- Stay on top of algorithm shifts, trending formats, and new platform features.
- Work closely with editors and creators to bring concepts to life quickly and at a high level.
Qualifications
- You\'ve managed social accounts before and have the numbers to back it up. We care about real organic growth, not vanity metrics.
- You\'ve worked in an agency setting and know how to juggle multiple clients, communicate proactively, and keep things from slipping through the cracks.
- You understand short-form video at a deep level. You know why a video works, not just that it did.
- You\'re creative and you genuinely care about content. You study hooks and trends, not just scroll passively.
- You\'re confident in client-facing situations and can present a strategy, explain your thinking, and handle feedback well.
- You\'re comfortable with data and can pull insights from analytics and turn them into a plan.
- You\'re a self-starter who sees what needs to happen and takes initiative without waiting to be told.
- You\'ve worked with creator-led or DTC brands and understand that world. You\'ve built your own audience or gone viral with your own content.
- You know your way around production workflows including editing tools, project management, and creative briefs. You have experience with influencer marketing or brand partnerships.
