Content Chemistry is looking for a Creative Producer to join our expanding team! Content Chemistry Ltd is a video and animation company based in South Manchester. We specialise in harnessing scientific accuracy and creative brilliance to produce captivating films, videos and animations. Using the latest technology, our expert team transforms complex ideas into stunning visual stories that educate, engage, and excite with storytelling through the lens of science and creativity.
Role Description
The role of Creative Producer supports the business by leading on client services, project management, implementation and creative from concept through to delivery and beyond, as outlined below:
- Taking client briefs and translating these for our Production and Post-production teams.
- Developing creative routes for projects with our Designers and Artworkers for pitches and live projects, with support from senior members of the Production and Post-Production teams.
- Completing proposed budget estimates for internal sign‑off from the Operations Director or Partners and client approval externally.
- Leading project schedules with support from the Senior Production Manager and Production Co‑ordinator.
- Taking briefs from our clients and from our internal team and adding creative and editorial value whilst crafting and curating each project.
- Developing creative ideas from scratch, implementing these with our designers and animators to launch a visual identity, an animated look and feel or to elevate virtually captured footage.
- Organising project kick‑offs both with clients and all members of the project team with regular meetings to ensure consistent communication throughout the project.
- Carefully curating, licensing and utilising stock footage and music when required, ensuring these are used on message and in the manner intended either editorially or commercially.
- Organising, directing and producing in‑person shoots on location globally and via online software for virtual recordings.
- Leading with our client, providing excellent and responsive customer service to deliver often fast‑turnaround projects with efficient management of our people and resources to a high standard.
- Tracking schedule and finance throughout project and produce final consolidations for client, seeing these through to invoice.
- Sharing consolidated project paperwork, including music and stock licenses and ensuring files are accurately managed.
- Strive for continuous improvement across all working practices to promote positive change and excel in role.
- Keeping an accurate track of your long‑term career aspirations and SMART goals via our Performance Development Programme.
Skills of the Ideal Candidate
- Expertise producing and directing location shoots and running virtual filming sessions.
- Confidence with owning and driving a project both internally and as a production expert to knowledgably assist and support our clients.
- Good working knowledge of video cameras, formats and codecs where possible.
- Proficiency and practical experience with post‑production workflows including animation‑only projects.
- A solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Adaptability and patience to project management with the ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Multi‑tasking abilities, being able to switch attention and focus with both autonomous working and when the business requires reprioritisation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A keen interest in medical communications, life sciences, technology and healthcare.

This role is based at our office in Cheadle Hulme, in South Manchester, with the ability to work from home on a hybrid basis up to two days per week, as the role develops. Please do not apply if you are not within reasonable commuting distance to Cheadle Hulme.
