Contemporary Pubs is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to join our growing team in Kent. Following the continued success of our established venues, we have built a strong reputation as one of the region’s leading pub groups, known for delivering exceptional food and hospitality. As we continue to expand and invest in our sites, we are seeking a talented Head Chef to play a key role in driving our culinary standards forward.

Our food offering centres on high-quality, contemporary gastro cuisine with a creative twist — all dishes are freshly prepared using the best seasonal ingredients. We are looking for a Head Chef with a strong background in high-end gastro kitchens, ideally at a 2 Rosette level or equivalent, who can bring innovation, leadership, and consistency to the team.

Working alongside Executive Chef Steve Piddock, who brings over 30 years of experience from some of the world’s best fine dining and gastro kitchens, you will contribute to menu development, lead and inspire your kitchen team, and help shape the future of the group.
