CNC Miller – 5-Axis Salary: £46,000–£54,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Miller to join an established precision engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to develop their technical expertise while working towards a future leadership role.
The Role You will be responsible for setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-quality precision components, ensuring all work meets the required specifications and quality standards.
You will work closely with the existing team, receiving training and support to develop your machining knowledge, understand departmental processes and build the skills required to take on additional responsibility.
The position is being offered with the intention of developing the successful candidate into a Team Leader role , making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Producing precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensuring components meet required tolerances and quality standards.
Carrying out component inspections and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team to meet production targets.
Developing technical knowledge and leadership skills with a view to progressing into a Team Leader position.
The Ideal Candidate Completed an apprenticeship in CNC machining, mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
Previous experience in CNC milling, ideally with 5-axis machinery.
Strong CNC setting and operating experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
