Contek Recruitment Solutions are collaborating with our client who are a leading provider of haulage, distribution, and logistics services throughout the UK and Ireland. With over 50 years of experience, a network of locations, and a modern fleet of roughly 160 trucks and 700+ trailers they deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions for clients.

Employees enjoy an excellent salary dependent on experience, opportunities for progression, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing with service, a pension scheme, and a savings scheme. Pay negotiable as an indicator up to £19.50 per hour, 10 hours pay no breaks taken between 6am and 4pm, any hours worked before or after is time and a half with plenty of hours available, OTE £65,000 with 10 hours overtime every week, £58,000 for 5 hours a week.

This role is based between 3 local sites and comes with a van which you will work from and also travel to and from work. The tractor units are all new so generally it will be minor repairs needed such as wing mirrors, trailers will need things like curtains replacing and tail lifts servicing, training on this will be provided if needed. You will work onsite on your own and will liaise with the fleet department for your daily work schedule.
