Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing precision manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Junior Production Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and career-driven individual looking to develop within a hands-on engineering environment (office based role). The successful candidate will receive training and development across a variety of production engineering functions, with exposure to design, estimating, purchasing, supplier liaison, and manufacturing support.

The Role

  • Working closely with experienced engineers and management, duties will include:
  • Assisting with design and engineering tasks using CAD software
  • Supporting estimating and quotation activities
  • Purchasing materials and liaising with suppliers
  • Conducting supplier visits and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Supporting production and manufacturing processes
  • Assisting with project coordination and documentation
  • Using Microsoft Office packages for reporting and administration

  • Previous engineering experience is preferred
