Quality Inspector
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our high-precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all advanced engineered components meet exact dimensional tolerances and stringent quality standards before reaching their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Operate and interpret readings from precision measuring equipment, including micro-calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, gauges, and CMMs (just operating).
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications.
- Document inspection results, maintain accurate quality records, and log non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools.
- Hands-on experience with CMM operation.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in quality assurance is a plus.
