About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Assembly & Test Fitter to join our client's team, carrying out in-house assembly and testing to exact customer specifications. If you have a strong background in mechanical assembly, hydraulic tubing, and reading engineering drawings, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in the engineering sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Assemble components accurately in line with customer and company procedures.
- Bend and thread light bore hydraulic tubing according to customer schematic drawings.
- Conduct pressure testing in line with strict specifications.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a high level of workshop housekeeping and actively follow the 5S program.
- Work efficiently to scheduled allocated hours.
