Our client is a large Engineering company based in Sheffield, part of a big group with over 100 people and expanding heavily.
What They Do
They specialise in the manufacture of parts for the Oil and Gas industry, operating in 9 countries with 5 sites in the UK and Scotland, employing over 500 staff members.
Working Hours
Days & Nights (Rotating Weekly) (40 hours per week)
WEEK 1: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM until 14:30 PM)
WEEK 2: Monday to Thursday (18:00 PM until 04:00 AM)
Salary
Between Β£30,160 and Β£31,320 per year, dependent on experience. (Β£26k - Β£27k basic + 32% shift allowance)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operation of metal cutting saws to cut a variety of metal materials.
- Ensure all cutting is accurate to maintain quality.
- Ensure production targets are met in full.
- Perform other tasks across the plant if needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an Engineering environment is required.
- Previous experience within metal cutting is required.
- Able to meet production deadlines.
- Able to commit to the weekly rotating shift pattern.
