Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage external workshop activities for planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and operational deadlines.
- Provide regular updates on work-in-progress to the traffic operations team to support effective planning.
- Raise, record, and close job entries on the Group Freeway System, including the creation and finalisation of purchase orders.
- Liaise with external workshops to schedule work and communicate vehicle downtime accurately to operations.
- Work with external suppliers, negotiating to secure best value and maintain cost efficiency.
Skills, Experience and Education
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge/Expertise: Strong knowledge of HGVs, ideally gained within a workshop, dealership, or similar operational environment.
