We are recruiting a Site Manager or Project Manager to oversee the operational delivery of an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant construction project in Great Heck.

You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring the delivery of core civil engineering packages on schedule and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations, workforce activities, and sub-contractor performance.
  • Oversee key civil engineering works, ensuring accurate installation of drainage systems, hardstanding concrete yards, and equipment plinths.
  • Maintain strict health and safety controls across the site, conducting toolboxes, risk assessments, and daily briefings.
  • Monitor construction progress against baseline programs and report updates to senior management.
  • Resolve technical queries and interface issues between civil elements and mechanical/process equipment installations.
  • Key Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong track record acting as a Site Manager or Project Manager on industrial, energy-from-waste, or process plant developments.
  • Solid civil engineering background, specifically with hands-on experience managing drainage installations, concrete yards, and structural plinths.
  • Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS Manager card.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive site progress from day one
