Contek Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Metal Worker to join our clients small, family-run team, based in central Birmingham. This is a permanent position, and is full-time.

You\’ll manufacture custom-made architectural metalwork solutions, including:
* Shopfronts
* Canopies
* Staircases
* Balustrades
* Gates/Railings
* Other bespoke metal structures
You\’ll work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements. including:
* Brass
* Bronze
* Aluminium
* Stainless & mild steel (Up to 6mm thick)
Duties:
* Using bandsaws and table saws.
* Using pedestrial drills.
* Using various different hand tools and power tools.
* Reading engineering drawings.
Person Requirements:
* Previous metalwork experience is required.
* Previous welding experience is preffered but not required.
* Ability to read detailed Engineering drawings.
* Great communication skills.
* Positive attitude and outlook on work. xiskglj
