We are working on behalf of our prestigious client, who have been in business since the early 1900s and they are the UK’s market leader in the manufacture of waste management vehicles. Their famous brand name is seen on the front of leading waste management companies' cabs every day across the United Kingdom’s streets. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic multi-disciplined Workshop and Warranty Administrator to join their Worksopp-based team.

Hours: 35.5 hours per week, between 08:30 and 16:30 (Mon to Thurs) and 08:30 – 14:30 on Friday.

Salary: up to £24,000 per year DOE.

Job Purpose: To provide a key role in the efficient running of workshop operations, ensuring warranty claims are processed accurately and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating service bookings and workshop schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate records of vehicle bookings, job progress and any updates.
  • Liaising with suppliers and the team to process warranty claims.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Accountabilities & Commitments Required:

  • Request assistance when task is outside ability, skill level or training experience.
  • Customer care – use all reasonable endeavours to provide the best possible service to our customers.
  • Comply with all company H&S procedures and policies.
  • Risk assessment and ensure safe working practices are being carried out at all times.
  • Actively encourage the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Highlight possible areas of risk and assist/report any potential hazards.
