About the Role
We are looking for a skilled
Assembly & Test Fitter
to join our client's team, carrying out in-house assembly and testing to exact customer specifications.
If you have a strong background in mechanical assembly, hydraulic tubing, and reading engineering drawings, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in the engineering sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Assemble components accurately in line with customer and company procedures.
Bend and thread light bore hydraulic tubing according to customer schematic drawings.
Conduct pressure testing in line with strict specifications.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
Maintain a high level of workshop housekeeping and actively follow the 5S program.
Work efficiently to scheduled allocated hours.
Skills & Competencies: Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to problem-solve effectively.
Commitment to high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience: Proven ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or fitting environment.
Crane and slinging experience.
Forklift truck experience.
Desirable:
Previous experience with pressure testing and light bore hydraulic tubing.
