You will be responsible for creating robust QA/QC written procedures from the ground up, embedding them into daily workflows, and leading hands-on inspection and testing activities to ensure high standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development & Quality Architecture: Design, document, and implement comprehensive internal Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) policies, SOPs, and inspection checklists. Continually review operational workflows within the warehouse and yard to identify quality risks and introduce corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).

- Inspection, Testing & Operational Leadership: Lead and participate directly in routine and ad-hoc physical inspections, testing, and quality sign-offs of equipment and inventory at the Leith yard. Maintain accurate inspection logs, trace defects, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs). Issue formal product/equipment quality certification upon successful verification.

- Hands-on Leadership: Ability to train, lead, and influence warehouse/yard personnel to follow strict quality guidelines.

- Driving Licence: Valid UK Full Driving Licence required (for occasional travel to UK suppliers and between sites).
