Contek are working with an award winning business in London who transform retail spaces across the high street with their design, manufacturing, and installation services. Their bespoke creations are crafted and manufactured in their factory, offering end-to-end solutions for in-store experiences, brand activations, pop-up shops, and retail fitouts.
Through growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Design Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose
Designing of retail “furniture” (counters, CDUs, FSUs, displays etc) for both in-house manufacture (requiring full assembly drawings and BOMS) a mixture of in-house and some subcontract manufacture.
System used: Solidworks (Essential experience)
Duties
- Making sense of a spread of clients information and turning it into clarity.
- Cost Engineering for clients budgets.
- Creation of designs from brief, working closely with project managers.
