Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting MOT preparations and Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
- Performing general vehicle servicing and defect repairs.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using specialised truck diagnostic tools.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a productive and efficient workshop environment.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management.
- Time-served HGV Mechanic experience with a deep understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
