Here at Contek we are working with a client who specialise in the manufacture of prototype, small batch and production quantity precision-engineered components, utilising the latest state of the art CNC machinery. They are currently seeking a CNC Miller with on and offline programming.
Responsibilities
- Programming CNC milling machines from technical drawings (online and offline)
- Setting and operating CNC machines to ensure efficient, high-quality production
- Selecting and managing tooling, monitoring wear, and maintaining production accuracy
- Working independently while contributing positively to a small, skilled team
- Communicating progress, issues, and improvements with line management
Criteria
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
- Experience with Fanuc control systems
- Programming knowledge using OneCNC and/or Edgecam
- Experience working with Haas and Matsuura machines
- High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
Friday: 07:30 - 15:00
