About the client: Our client is a large manufacturing company with two sections in the business. This role is for the structural steel department, working at their site in Watford. Due to growth, they are looking for a permanent MIG Welder.

As a Fabricator, your duties will include:

  • Fabricating
  • Building large assemblies from engineering drawings
  • Working on structural steel (experience with structural steel is essential)
  • Conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Plating work – marking-out, prepping, fabricating big items
  • Using workshop machinery (bandsaw, drills, grinders, press brake, etc.)
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and maintained
  • Fabricating components according to specifications and technical drawings

As a Fabricator, you will work:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7am – 5pm, 2pm finish on Fridays
  • 1 hour break between 12pm – 1pm
  • £17 - £22 per hour
