About the Role:
Are you meticulous about maintaining high standards? A leading automotive organisation is looking for a reliable HGV Valeter to join our team at the Doncaster Depot. In this role, you'll take pride in ensuring our commercial fleet looks exceptional and operates efficiently. Working a steady 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, you'll benefit from full training, a supportive team environment, and clear opportunities to progress your career.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Vehicle Detailing: Deep cleaning, polishing, and restoring HGVs inside and out to top industry standards using professional cleaning agents.
- Inspections: Checking vehicles for internal/external damage or wear and reporting issues promptly.
- Stock & Admin: Keeping track of cleaning inventory, reordering supplies, and completing brief daily paperwork.
- Depot Maintenance: Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and safe (cleaning tools, sweeping bay areas, managing equipment).
- Safety & Standards: Following health, safety, and operational protocols at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience valeting or detailing commercial vehicles to a high standard.
- Knowledge of professional cleaning, protective, and restorative chemicals/agents.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team.
- A positive, adaptable work ethic.
