An established and growing engineering company is currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC Mills
- Creating, loading, examining, and modifying CNC programmes (Mainly Heidenhain)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Using a wide range of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Carrying out in-process inspection operations
- Working independently and as part of a team
What we are looking for
- Experienced programming using Heidenhain controls ideally
- Aerospace experience advantageous (but not required)
- A positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
- Organised, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
- Experience setting and operating CNC Mills
Working conditions
- £20.00 per hour (dependent on ability)
- Overtime available (not guaranteed) at just under time and a third
- 40-hour week (core hours 8.00am - 4.30pm)
- 30 days holiday total
