Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering company, based in Redditch, West Midlands. Our client are specialists in the production and manufacture of machined parts and components for a wide range of industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Energy, and many more. Our client are now actively looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30 until 16:30) and Friday (07:30 until 12:30) Key Responsibilities: * Program, set up, and operate a range of horizontal and vertical CNC milling machinery (Doosan/Haas/Matsuura) to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. * Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls. * Programming offline using Espirit CAD/CAM software. * Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements: * Previous experience programming, setting up and operating CNC milling machinery is required. * Previous experience programming using Fanuc, or a similar control is required. * Previous experience using any kind of CAD/CAM software to program offline is required. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. * Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
