An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to be part of an established, family run, precision engineering company, specialising in the manufacture of multi-spindle drilling heads, to service the woodworking industries.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ideally the candidate will have proven experience in programming, setting and operating a multi-axis CNC turning centre with a Fanuc control.
- This role requires a high level of technical expertise and precision to transform engineering drawings into high quality machined components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Hours and Pay:
- Your hours will be a basic of 38-hour week, working Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.15 hrs, Friday 07.30-12.30. (However, hours can be flexible with longer working hours to spread work over 4 days.)
- Overtime as and when required - 4 hours at basic rate + 1/3, 5+ hours at rate of ½ and Sundays a rate of double pay.
- Hourly rate depending on experience - £17 – 20 per hour.
