CNC Miller (Day Shift) (Permanent) in Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour DOE Hours: 40 hours per week – Dayshift Employment Type: Permanent Contek Recruitment are currently representing their client, a small and established precision engineering business based in Stanford-le-Hope, who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their close-knit team. The company manufactures a varied range of subcontract components for a broad customer base, covering sectors from building and structural engineering through to pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a varied role suited to a CNC Miller who enjoys working across different components and materials rather than producing the same parts every day. Work will range from small batch components through to longer production runs. Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinery Setting machines and selecting appropriate tooling Editing and proving CNC programmes where required Carrying out in-process inspection and maintaining required quality standards Supporting the wider team within a small, hands-on manufacturing environment Previous experience as a CNC Miller Confident programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinery Experience with alternative CNC controls will also be considered Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach Flexible and adaptable due to the varied nature of the work 18.00 – £22.00 per hour depending on experience ~40 hours per week ~ Dayshift position ~ Flexible working hours where possible ~ Company is accommodating around commitments such as school runs ~ Permanent position with an established engineering business If you are an experienced CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter or Operator looking for a varied role with genuine flexibility around working hours, we would be keen to hear from you.
