Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking to move into an office-based technical role? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you can develop your skills across technical administration, estimating and production coordination.
The Role
- Working closely with management, production and customers, you'll help turn customer enquiries and engineering drawings into successful manufacturing projects.
- Preparing quotations from customer drawings and specifications.
- Reviewing engineering drawings and understanding manufacturing requirements.
- Producing and amending AutoCAD drawings.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding technical queries.
- Supporting production with technical information.
- Preparing job packs and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintaining drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
- Updating internal factory management systems.
- Supporting the estimating process.
- Developing an understanding of manufacturing costs.
- Assisting with production coordination as your experience develops.
- Helping resolve technical queries throughout the manufacturing process.
