The Role
They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Welder / Fabricator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for fabricating and welding custom-manufactured wheel rims and related assemblies. Because they specialise in bespoke products, your day-to-day work will involve short production runs and custom jobs, requiring strong technical knowledge, versatility, and an eye for precision rather than repetitive mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel and other metals to fabricate bespoke wheel rims and components.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job cards to accurately assemble components.
- Measure, cut, grind, clean, and fit metal components prior to welding.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and precise adherence to dimensions and tolerances.
- Work with short-run and prototype designs, offering practical fabrication solutions where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a light-to-medium engineering or metal manufacturing environment.
