Contek Recruitment are currently recruiting for CNC Millers for an Aerospace manufacturing company in Atherstone, Warwickshire. The company is recognised nationally and globally as one of the leading manufacturers of Aerospace engine parts. From their 28,000 ft2 manufacturing facility in Atherstone, Warwickshire, they produce an extensive range of components and assemblies for more than 20 aerospace and gas turbine engines. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art, precision engineering machinery for turning, milling, grinding and assembly operations. For over 45 years they have served domestic and international clients with the highest quality precision engineered aerospace parts. The company boasts a highly skilled workforce with strong technical capabilities, first class industry knowledge and extensive manufacturing experience. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for CNC Millers to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Requirements

  • Previous CNC milling experience is required.
  • Will have experience within multi-axis machining.
  • Will ideally have experience programming OR editing Heidenhain or HAAS controls.
  • Experience within the Aerospace industry is preferred but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Machining a range of Aerospace parts, typically small batches.
  • Working on a range of 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Programming (or editing) Heidenhain and HAAS control systems.
  • Self-inspection of parts and components using measuring equipment.
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:00 AM until 16:00 PM) and Friday (07:00 AM until 12:00 PM).

Salary: £17.00 - £17.50 per hour (Setter/Operator) & £18.00 - £19.45 per hour (Programmer).
