Contek Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable precision engineering company, located in Tamworth, West Midlands. Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
ABOUT THE COMPANY: The company specialises in delivering both precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions, defence project work and the design and manufacture of superior quality work-holding solutions. Founded in the UK, in 1939, they have been working with customers to turn complex ideas and concepts into solutions for over 80 years and have built an exemplary international reputation.
PAY: £18 - £20 per hour (Depending on experience)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (07:15 AM until 16:15 PM) and Friday (07:15 AM until 12:15 PM) - Flexible for the right person.
OVERTIME: Overtime is available consistently and is paid at time-and-a-half.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working on a range of 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machining centres.
- Programming using Siemens 840D, Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls.
- Producing parts and components for the Defence, Aerospace, and Nuclear industries.
- Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience using Siemens 840D, Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls is required.
- A committed and driven approach to work.
