My clients work with dozens of Bars and Nightclubs across the UK providing drinks services, hosting and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Support
- Oversee the UK team to ensure all scheduled venues are fully staffed and supported from Wednesday through Sunday.
- Provide regular 1:1 check-ins with team members to offer guidance, resolve issues, and monitor wellbeing and performance.
- Lead the development of a positive and professional team culture, including organising staff socials and team-building activities.
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing support for new joiners and arrange retraining for staff underperforming in sales.
- Operational Management
- Ensure sales breakdowns are submitted promptly and accurately, including clear photographic evidence of bottle counts.
- Monitor and report staff performance regularly, highlighting high performers and addressing concerns (e.g. removal of underperformers from future shifts).
- Ensure prompt removal of departing staff from internal systems including the UK WhatsApp group, RotaCloud, and SumUp.
- Scheduling & Coordination
- Prepare monthly staff rotas in advance, with each rota completed before the end of the previous month.
- Identify and address any scheduling gaps and work closely with the recruitment team to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
- Take ownership of onboarding all new staff into operational systems, including SumUp.
- Venue & Client Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing, professional communication with all client venues.
- Ensure clients are kept informed of any relevant updates or changes and respond promptly to feedback or concerns.
- Actively seek opportunities to secure additional event bookings and maintain positive, long-term relationships with venue partners.
- Flexibility & Travel
- You may be required to travel on short notice to client venues in the event of staffing gaps or operational issues where no other solution is available.
- In such cases, all necessary travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the business.
