To support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of a comprehensive Ethics and Compliance Programme, strengthening the company’s ethical culture and ensuring employees consistently understand, uphold, and adhere to all relevant standards and requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a compliance business partner across assigned regions, ensuring activities meet company standards and industry Codes of Practice.
- Provide clear, solutions‑focused compliance advice and support to affiliates.
- Help improve and streamline compliance processes while maintaining strong controls.
- Deliver training and communications to promote ethical behaviour and policy understanding.
- Support key functions (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access) with Events Management requirements.
- Review materials for commercial and medical projects to ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.
- Conduct risk-based monitoring and support corrective actions and follow‑up training.
- Lead regional risk assessments and provide input into Grants & Donations processes.
- Coordinate regional compliance committee meetings and mentor affiliate compliance champions.
- Support transparency reporting, data privacy (GDPR) awareness, and social media compliance.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry codes.
- Contribute to global compliance activities, including policy updates, risk assessments, monitoring, due diligence, and investigations.
About You:
- Educated to degree level required.
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical compliance is required.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the UK Bribery Act, GDPR, EFPIA, and IFPMA Codes of Practice.
- Proven cross-functional collaborator in multicultural environments.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and manage assigned responsibilities effectively.
- Experienced in handling multiple projects and deadlines in fast-paced, complex settings.
- Adaptable, enthusiastic, and flexible in approach.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Transparency reporting experience advantageous.
- Experience with the ABPI Code of Practice required.
