Contechs Consulting is a design and engineering consultancy with an international client base. We employ engineers for both contract and permanent positions, into the Automotive sectors of industry. We are currently looking for a Graduate Automotive Engineer to join our fast and growing engineering team based onsite in Woking, Surrey.
Typical everyday tasks will include:
- Developing concepts and designing components.
- Completing design studies and presenting these.
- Liaising with other Engineers and CAD group.
- Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
- Completing assigned tasks as directed.
- Analysing metrics and data using Excel.
- Understanding and analysing CAE reports.
- Liaising with manufacturing.
- Meeting suppliers.
Skills Required:
- A 2:1 or above in a degree in Automotive/Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical.
- Ideally industry experience either as part of a sandwich course or 6 months+ work experience.
- A passion for the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team working skills.
- IT knowledge and experience with MS Office.
- An interest/experience in Engineering/Design/CAD/CATIA V5/Powertrain/Chassis/Body.
