Graduate Automotive Engineer - CAD or Engineering roles - Offering Perm or Contract

Contechs Consulting is a design and engineering consultancy with an international client base. We employ engineers for both contract and permanent positions, into the Automotive sectors of industry. We are currently looking for a Graduate Automotive Engineer to join our fast and growing engineering team based onsite in Woking, Surrey.

Typical everyday tasks will include:

  • Developing concepts and designing components.
  • Completing design studies and presenting these.
  • Liaising with other Engineers and CAD group.
  • Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
  • Completing assigned tasks as directed.
  • Analysing metrics and data using Excel.
  • Understanding and analysing CAE reports.
  • Liaising with manufacturing.
  • Meeting suppliers.

Skills Required:

  • A 2:1 or above in a degree in Automotive/Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical.
  • Ideally industry experience either as part of a sandwich course or 6 months+ work experience.
  • A passion for the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team working skills.
  • IT knowledge and experience with MS Office.
  • An interest/experience in Engineering/Design/CAD/CATIA V5/Powertrain/Chassis/Body.
