Do you have a first degree or a 2:1 Degree in Engineering/ motorsport or automotive? Do you have passion for the automotive industry? Then I may have potential positions for you.

I am currently searching for Graduate Engineers for the Automotive Industry on a long term or permanent basis.

Salary - £25,000 per annum for permanent or £16.00/ £17.00 per hour contract.

My clients, Automotive OEM and Tier 1 suppliers, are in need of Graduate Engineers to join their team working onsite at the production plants.

You will need a 2.1 or above with a degree/ final year placement/ dissertation in any of the following areas:

  • Engineering/ motorsport or automotive

Location – Essex or West Midlands.

Successful graduates will have skills in the following areas:

  • Chassis
  • CAD
  • Body
  • Powertrain
  • Matlab
  • AutoCAD
  • Teamcentre
  • Electrical

I have a variety of positions available based within different commodities of the Automotive industry.

Hours: 37.5 per week plus salary – permanent or contract.

Brief job description:

  • Able to lead the resolution of technical issues and development of technology, in the team environment and interface directly to the attribute teams, component areas, manufacturing and marketing, sales and service to represent the department.
  • System engineering experience in the field of Power Train engineering/ Body Engineering/ Electrical/ chassis etc.
  • A sound technical knowledge of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering.
  • Applicants must be qualified to degree level and computer literate.
  • Fluent in use of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.

Education Required: Must be degree educated to a minimum of 2:1 and have relevant experience within the automotive.
