This role is responsible for issue management using structured problem‑solving techniques to ensure software issues are correctly managed across all EVA25 programmes within the Motion and Propulsion domain.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for SW issue management using structured problem‑solving techniques.
- Define and govern the issues management process for Motion & Propulsion SW controls.
- Work with integration teams, ECU squads and ITP teams to triage issues and identify relevant squad for each issue.
- Investigate complex system issues to create a standard problem definition and lead root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support across the operational team on topics relating to integration and testing of multiple interconnected components, including issue resolution and objective data analysis.
- Track issues to ensure fixes are robustly validated and deployed.
- Identify gaps in system diagnostic strategies to drive design improvements.
- Review issues to progress ageing and high‑priority issues.
- Agree with feature / ECU owners of ICA and PCA in place.
- Link issues to propulsion pack releases and SW drops for delivery.
- Report issue status with priority and escalation.
- Approve SIMS issue closure with assignee.
- Create, maintain and improve dashboards, filters, reports and KPIs for delivery teams and leadership.
- Support cross‑functional program reporting across Domain, CSI and business units.
- Good relevant experience working in a systems engineering environment – ideally within the automotive sector.
- Experience in applying systems engineering and testing of complex technical systems using a structured approach.
- Ability to produce formal documentation to a highly professional standard.
- Relevant experience of integrated system testing.
- Full driving licence.
