To join the Global Commercial Services team within Indirect Procurement at the Client as the Senior Buyer for Retail on a 6-month contract covering parental leave.
Responsibilities
- The Buyer will have procurement category responsibility for the look & feel of the Retail environment working closely with the Retail Operations team supporting how customers interact with the vehicles in the Clients' retailers.
- Overall responsibility and leadership for all global and relevant local sourcing including project delivery, benchmarking costs, contract management, supplier relationship management activities and strategic development with a focus on sustainability to support the look and feel of our retail environment.

- A Buyer with 3 years+ experience of buying goods.
- Experience of working with colleagues across the globe with clear communication skills.
- Commercial Awareness and Negotiation skills.
- Understand category management principles.
- Relationship management - internal and external.
- Flexibility and agility to be able to adjust to changing business needs.
- Previous experience in Retail Procurement.
Education
- Degree and/or CIPS preferable but not a requirement.
