I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Risk Manager to join their team.

Job Description

As Risk Manager, your main responsibilities are:

  • Providing specialist risk support and guidance to global procurement teams
  • Engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Leading strategic supplier review meetings, providing financial support
  • Quantifying risk to give a clear understanding of potential costs and steps required
  • Leading the response to supplier distress and insolvency
  • Providing oversight and guidance on complex legal and commercial issues

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring, including both legal and operational issues.
  • A strong and inspirational leader.
  • Capable of providing clear direction from the outset and providing the tools for the team to succeed.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills (both internal and external)
  • Able to pitch their message at the right level for the audience.
  • Business acumen, a drive for results, a passion to succeed, personal initiative and influencing skills.
