About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Crewe, who are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team

Job Description

As Quality Inspector, your main responsibilities are:

  • Inspect & approve products for fit, finish and basic functionality (including driving of the product)
  • Incoming parts checked and signed off to standards
  • Quality & basic functionality receiving inspection of parts
  • Quality & Specification checking of parts fitted
  • Over checking of repairs to confirm product meet specification & quality requirements

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Demonstrable ability to influence the need for customer quality focus
  • Demonstrate a proven track record within a Production / Manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of product trim & assembly processes
  • Able to interpret and consistently apply Product Audit guidelines to rate defect severity
  • Hold clean, current vehicle driving licence
