I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Crewe, who are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team
Job Description
As Quality Inspector, your main responsibilities are:
- Inspect & approve products for fit, finish and basic functionality (including driving of the product)
- Incoming parts checked and signed off to standards
- Quality & basic functionality receiving inspection of parts
- Quality & Specification checking of parts fitted
- Over checking of repairs to confirm product meet specification & quality requirements
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Demonstrable ability to influence the need for customer quality focus
- Demonstrate a proven track record within a Production / Manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of product trim & assembly processes
- Able to interpret and consistently apply Product Audit guidelines to rate defect severity
- Hold clean, current vehicle driving licence
