The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the development of surface materials and technologies for Bespoke and Personalisation projects. As the material concept(s) matures, the attention will focus on the method of make and manufacturing technologies. This involves collaborating and partnering with Materiality Designers, Suppliers, and the wider Bespoke team, as well as creating visual and numerical standards to be used within the supply chain and vehicle assembly.
Essential Skills:
- Experience and knowledge in the field of relevant material technologies and strong technical and development expertise.
- A good understanding of product and automotive design combined with good aesthetic judgement, colour vision, and colour perception.
- Good communication skills and the ability to relate to and communicate at all levels.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- Understanding of timing plans and programme managing commodity developments.
- Capability to measure KPIs in relation to programme deliverables.
Additional Information:
The position will require a UK driving licence to enable independent travel to suppliers and manufacturing sites. Overseas travel may also be required at short notice.
