I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Liaison Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Liaison Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Lead/drive activities to reduce manufacturing variability
- Internal & external KPI monitoring & reporting
- Key contact, supporting plant issues
- Change Management support
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier quality operations and processes
- Comprehensive problem-solving knowledge β Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified
- Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience in an Engineering function
- Be able to apply common processes, standards and utilise a back-to-basics approach
- Able to form good working relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Strong understanding of people and emotional intelligence is a plus
- Creates a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together
